I recently got a keyboard for my g1s and some of the buttons on the bottom left corner of the keyboard are a little different (as it's supposed to be able to support both windows and os X) is there any way to reassign some of my keys?

I'd like to turn the apple key into a fn key (so as to be able to sue the g1s hotkeys) and maybe rearrange what the keys are at the bottom to be a little more like what I'm used to.

    Thanks.

Im positive the OS has no control over the fn button or its shortcuts and that is all hardwired into the bios (again, 90% sure), so I don't think you can reassign the windows/apple key to the fn key :(

Usually 'Windows' assign standard 101 key driver for generic keyboard. If you have software that came with keyboard, you may have some control

The fn-key is BIOS controlled and cannot be changed within the OS.

Within Windows the fn key is controlled though drivers and software.

The bad news is Asus don't do any software to change these keys, however the good news is someone has created software to intercept these commands. Please checkout the NP post:
