I just made the switch over the Vista 64 on a custom Vlite install - I have to say it's very nice and everything seems to be in fine working order. A few questions:
What are some recommended modified video drivers? Card is GF 7700.
While I'm here posting if someone could drop a note on how to get the function keys to work as well as what Asus software is recommended to install that would be great, but my main question is the video drivers.
(Asus programs being powerstrip, ATK, etc -- I don't like to install useless stuff and am not sure what those and others from Asus actually do) Thanks!

For function keys to work you need to have atk generic driver, atk hotkeys and atk media installed.
For video drivers check out laptopvideo2go.com
Check here for what asus programs are what and which are bloatware
