Hello,
I plan to return the M50Sv because of the low-quality display (AUO2277). For my it is a defective product. If it is the design intent bad for them.
When I installed Vista Ultimate I removed all the existing partitions to make a clean install. Is there a way to leave everything as it was when I purchased the laptop?
I think I will buy a M50Sa that comes with a decent display (CMO1523)...
Cheers.

There is a recovery disk shipped along with your laptop. You just need to put it in, and choose to partition HD into two drives. The rest should be easy.
You don't need to return your unit back though. Your returned laptop will be sent to ASUS for inspection and repairs (if necessary). -
I just want my money back. It is a shame that a 3 year old laptop looks better than this crappy screen.
Thanks for your help. -
Do you know what puppy says after she misbehaves on the carpet?

Thats why I returned it:

Add that to a solid color background, poor viewing angles and you obtain a dark band in the 3/4 of the screen.
I simply don't get why a great laptop is equiped with this crap of screen. -
ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
