Hey I have an ASUS N61JQ laptop with Windows 7x64 Home Premium. I know it has a hidden recovery partition that is roughly 15-16GB in size on top of the C(149GB) and D(432GB) partitions. If you run the Win7x64HP setup it picks up the recovery partition when asking you where to install windows.

The problem is that when I run AI recovery it says that the "Recovery partition does not exist." Furthermore when I boot up the laptop and frantically hit F9, it just goes into Windows Boot Manager giving me one option which is to start Windows 7.

Apparently this problem isn't very unique at all and has occurred over several different models.

No, I have not installed or upgraded to a different version of windows. If I can't access it or use it then I would like to assimilate it into the D partition to get some more space.

Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated.
