I have a K50IE laptop and when I first fired it up I was asked to insert discs to create a set of reinstall discs should I ever need to do a reinstall.
That task took 5 DVDs. On the 1st disc a boot disc was created that is one with an iso. The rest I take it were a complete system W7 and all the installed software on the laptop.
Not being the most up to date with this sort of thing should I need or decide to reformat the laptop how do I go about doing so using these 5 discs?

    Thanks for any help here.

Put the first disc in and when you turn on your computer, hit the Esc key to get to the boot menu and select your DVD drive. From there it will load the recovery software from the DVD.

Many thanks for that. I thought it was something like that but thought I had better check first to make sure.
    Good luck...Wallaby.
