    Hi there,

I bought by laptop back on July 12... I didn't realize it needed to be registered for the warranty, though. So since I only have a few days left until the deadline for the accidental damage warranty runs out, I registered it online.

My question is, once I recieved the email with the case #, does that mean I've made the deadline for the ADW, regardless of when my reciept reaches them?

Or, once I mail the recipt + printed email, if it doesn't reach them til after the 60 days from purchase are up, am I no longer elegible? I'm in Canada, so if it takes more than a few days to get there, it'll be more than 60 since I bought it.

    Thannks in advance :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the receipt has to be there on or before deadline. To play it safe, I recommend using priority shipping. Paying the extra 10-15$ to ensure it arrives on time is a small price to pay incase you drop the laptop on the floor or spill pepsi on the keys.

Since you're in Canada, xpress 2-3 business post is 15$-ish from Ontario to California, to give you an example.

Also, shoot an email to Asus themselves. They're pretty accomodating.

O damn, I had no idea :( I got mine june first and never registered. Does this mean my warranty is useless? This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard then....

You think If I called them, I can still register?

edit - I just register and it said I was approve. but I think thats just the computer speaking...
