How do I reinstall Win 7 64 on my Asus K70 without installing all the programs that came preloaded? I tried the recovery disc but it installed Adobe, TrendMicro, etc, all of which I have no use for. I have all discs that came w/ the laptop. I just want Win 7 and will install my own programs. Thanks in advance

The easiest way to reinstall the OS without any mumbo jumbo is to use your restore disk. When it prompts you to insert the drivers disk, simply press and hold the power button to do a hard shut down, then restart your system. Once restarted, Windows should boot with nothing on it and from there you can install your desired drivers and utilities.

Thx for the quick reply I'm assuming my restore disc is the Recovery Media Disc that came w/ the laptop?
