    Release dates on new lines (K Series, U Series)?

    I read that the U Series is supposed to be release in Q2 and I suspect the K series has a release date similar to this. I'm wondering if anyone can narrow that date down. Do they release it in the beginning of Q2 or end? Any more info on this is appreciated.

    Historically, Asus releases in the latter half of a quarter, and they are notorious for missing early release estimates (i.e. they're later than they say). Spring updates, if they happen, usually occur in May-June.

    Chances are that neither of these even exist yet on Asus roadmaps with an actual, planned, release *date*, but those are available only to resellers anyway (and usually are embargoed from the public under non-disclosure agreements).

    Nothing is official yet but they did say it would be released Q2, when that is exactly who knows, but laptops are sometimes delayed.

    Thank you for that information ClearSkies (nice name btw :) ). I guess Asus isn't a brand to rely on for adhering to release dates. I really like the idea of having that ATI 4860 but I need a laptop soon and I don't think I can wait for an unreliable release source.
