    Something is wrong with my enter button. It is clicking halfway down and may be going down too far.

    Any idea how to safely remove a key so I can see what's going on underneath?

    You can pop it off fairly easily, but there's always a bit of risk in damaging the little plastic retaining clip underneath the key cap. There's not much in the way of "safely" removing it.
