    Hello everyone,

I'm trying to remove the graphic overlay that pops up everytime when I'm using the FN keys. This usually shows up when I use to turn up or down the volume or the change the brightness level. I recently reformatted my computer and I vaguely remember there was a way to do this. I believe it has something to do with renaming/deleting certain files in the ATK files, namely "HControl.exe", "HControlUser.exe" and "HCSup.exe". There was a post about this a loooong time ago but I can't seem to find it.

    Thanks for the help.

I believe the process is ATKOSD2.exe, so if you remove that from your startup processes, the overlay should no longer be there. ATKOSD.exe will also provide a graphical illustration of your FN key functions, so if you remove that as well you should have no graphics overlay for anything anymore.

Thank you very much for your fast reply.
I deleted ATKOSD.exe from the ATK Hotkey folder and the graphic overlay did not show up anymore.
