I had a devil of a time finding this for my old Dell laptop. Does anyone have access to or know where (if there even is one) to find it?

    Thanks.

Uhh, that's not a repair manual. It's only a user manual that tells you how to turn the lappy on. You know, for the common retard. ;)

Well.. mostly it is not as detailed as the Lenovo Thinkpad manuals. The N80 manual I dled has some guide on how to remove the HD, RAM, the non fancy stuff. But I guess it won't do if you want to remove the LCD bezel or motherboard.

I realize you probably thought of this. If you take the notebook appart asus has every right not to honor your warranty.
they do have the repair manuals however they seldom give it out to end users unless the unit is out of warranty.

Thanks for the link. Too bad the G71G series isn't in English yet :(

There are some disassembly guides over here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=122632#disassembly
    Nothing specifically for the G50.

I also caution against removing any heatsinks, since those are sealed with "warranty void" stickers.

What is it that you need the manual for? If you just want to clean it, for instance, we have a generic guide that may work for the G50.
