    Hi,

    Could anyone give me the dimensions and connectivity of the optical drive coming with the G51Vx-X2A, I will receive this notebook soon and I want to replace the DVD drive with a blu-ray burner

    I could not find all the measurements on Asus website, and I cannot wait to receive the notebook to see for myself as the auction ends soon... :D

    Any standard 12.5mm ODD can fit in the G51's optical bay. Just switch out the faceplate from your old drive to the new on and it's ready to go.

    It will fit. The seller is just stupid at measuring. A few Clevo users have bought the same ODD from this guy and put it in their notebooks.
