Replacement battery & optical drive for my W3V

I am looking replace the battery & optical drive for my W3V.

This is what is standard on the W3V:
Battery (Mfg# 70-NCC1B1000)
Optical Drive: UJ-831B (Mfg# ?)

Will the battery and optical drive made for the W3J be compatible with my W3V? In particular, is the optical drive made for the W3J better than that for the W3V. If so, what is its model and manufacturing number? Finally, are there any other better options for a replacement optical drive that will also fit the W3 bevel?

The standard battery actually won't physically fit (as they have different hook locations), and it's actually a much darker color. The optical drive should work, but of course Asus will say it hasn't been tested... but technically it's the same as the old W3v drive, so there's no reason to get the W3j specific drive.

Is there another optical drive, besides the UJ-831B, that sold with the W3V/J? What is its model and manufacturing number and what is the manufacturing number for the UJ-831B?
