Okay, so being a very clumsy and unlucky guy in general. I happened to have stepped on my laptop on accident, thereby cracking my lcd screen. My ac adapter gave out on me last week too.

My question is...where can I find a replacement screen for my laptop? Doesn't matter if its glossy or matte. I just need a replacement screen at a good price. Thanks... :(

I only know of one lcd reseller. Screentek which sells the lcd i'm trying to find for about $350.

Do you have any links to other resellers that may be cheaper?

I know its several months since you posted but since I have the same problem.. my wife stepped on her Asus m5200n notebook and I did lots of research and the best place to get a replacement screen is in Singapore from http://www.pchub.com/uph/

Their prices are half or less what other companies are charging in North America. They have some other parts too. They ship world-wide.

In order to get the screen apart on the Asus I have you must remove the four screws on the bezel and then pry carefully with a very thin screwdriver under the bezel and then use a flat dinner knife to slide along and pry up as you go. It is very hard to get it off without breaking some of the plastic clips but as long as enough of them survive it should be ok, i guess you could glue it on too if it got too badly damaged, not designed with the idea of removing too well.

    Cheers
