As per 98% of all notebooks, GPU upgrading is very hard to do if not impossible. So I doubt it, ASUS has not advertised it as MXM compatible neither.

You can have some fun and desolder the Mobo and attempt to if you are up for it :p

Asus should start thinking of designing the notebooks in a way that makes it possible, would really make the dineros u pay for a laptop in this range more interesting.

Well they have a 15in laptop that has upgradeable graphics called the Asus C90s with MXM-II and 25w TDP.

Even though its a 15in lappy, Its designed to be a desktop replacement laptop since it uses desktop processors but is supposely very upgradable.

The Sager 5790 I believe has an upgradable GPU. Also it appears to be, from the preliminary experiences with the C90 in the forums, a more reliable and better option. The C90 is a wait-and-see kind of investment and could go either way at this point.

Yes the Sager 5790(clevo 570ru) has a MXM-IV(same thing on the powerful Clevo d900c[Sager 9260]) which should hopefully mean the 8800 or betterin the future.
