    Greetings.

I found one pretty detailed Youtube video on tearing apart S400CA but unfortunately that video didn't cover the keyboard part. Since I couldn't find a video I contacted ASUS for a service manual(?) but haven't heard back.

Want to replace with an ASUS OEM part Replacement Keyboard Module (S400CA) ... has anyone done this? If so is it easy or do I have to tear it down completely before I can get at the keyboard? I'm used to how easy my Lenovo X220T's keyboard was to change (after three years of crumbs ) but something tells me that it will be difficult on the S400CA ...

This one is going to be a hassle since you have to take everything apart and replace the C panel. The keyboard itself is combined with the C panel thus why everything need to be disassembled before you can replace it.

Thank you - I was afraid of that when I saw the replacement part offered @ASUS. Very helpful answer - I appreciate it you taking the time :)
