    Hey guys,

So the screen's busted on my UL50Vt (gf dropped it), and I'm on my way to get a new one. But before doing that, I wanted to rip the entire laptop apart. I got almost everything off this laptop, EXCEPT THE FREAKING BEZEL FROM THE SCREEN.

I removed the 4 screws on the top of the screen, and two on the bottom. Got the clips to release all the way around except right at the hinges. I can't seem to get it to separate. Any ideas?

(I posted images here: Asus UL LCD replacement - NotebookForums.com Community)

    Thanks!

Did you ever figure this out? If there aren't any screws left to take off it probably just needs more torque. Try a medium guitar pick to separate it maybe.
