I have had an ASUS N53Jf-XE1 notebook for one month. I recently saw that the LCD bezel was scratched from the material that was between the keyboard and the LCD. I would like to replace the LCD.
Thank you for your help.
- Can ASUS replace this (for free or at a cost)?
- If not, are there professional external dealers who can replace this?
- If not, where should I get the part from to replace it? The best I have is Asusparts, but I do not know the difference between the parts. Is it easy to replace?

I'm not sure if ASUS would replace that under warranty since it's more of a cosmetic thing. They might, but you'd have to be sure they understand the problem was a design or manufacturing flaw.
If you bought the system from a retailer, try contacting them to get the part. Otherwise you will have to try a place like the asus estore, asusparts, or some other vendor. Good luck. -
ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
Best options for reseller based replacement would be Ken @ GenTechPC or Eddie @ BTOTech. Contact them directly for cost estimates.
