Beautiful design followed by awesome gaming power backed with a great 2 year global warranty makes the new G50 and G70 laptops a no brainer choice for the hardcore.

Damn nice looking if you ask me.

I understand different tastes for each person but this is really growing on me.

I have a big ugly silver and red Dell XPS M1710 and it looks like a old beige box next to this thing. Not to mention it stomps it in gaming.

Kinda big for a 15.4" don't you think? But I gotta admit 6.5 lbs is a good weight for this thing.

Doc Z it is quite large but NOT. It is weird. The widescreen is only 15.4 but I have it next to my XPS M1710 and they are the same width. The difference is the G50 has a real number pad which ROCKS. The G50 is thinner and about an 1" less in depth that the M1710.

You really feel the difference when you pick them up though. The G50 is nothing compared to the M1710. They might not be to far off from each other in size but it does feel much better.

I don't have the G70 yet but a while back I was told the SLI was the 8700M GT but that was before the 9700M GT was available so it might be updated at the event.
