    so a couple of days ago, i installed Catalyst 10.6, it worked fine and everything. But than the next day i was playing Borderlands and it crashed on me twice. So i used my ASUS driver CD to return back to 9.12 drivers, but the catlyst still says it's version 10.6. I'm a little confused here, can someone clear things up for me? or help me return to stock drivers. I'm on stock bios by the way.

    It's a bug (or wherever situation) of the CCC that happens when you return from higher driver to stock. Happened to me returning from 10.5 to stock driver 9.12 from the install DVD. Check your Driver Packaging Version. If the first 4 numbers are 8.683-091217a-092929C your driver is in 9.12 regardless the catalyst that CCC reports.

    Follow this list:

    Driver ver ---> Catalyst Ver
    8.741.0.0 ---> 10.6
    8.732.0.0 ---> 10.5
    8.723.0.0 ---> 10.4
    8.712.0.0 ---> 10.3
    8.692.2.0 ---> 10.2
    8.692.1.0 ---> 10.1
    8.683.0.0 ---> 9.12

    This information was obtained from internet and it's for Win7 x64. Not sure about the rest of the windows platforms.

    Hope it helps you.
