Can anyone with one comment on this:

    "Noise and heat
The Asus N56 does not get excessively noisy even when pushed, although it’s not completely quiet either.

However, it tends to get hot when running games for a couple of hours. The components can get to about 80-85 degrees Celsius, which is quite high. More importantly though, the top part of the laptop tends to get hot, on the left side of the trackpad, beneath the Z X C keys, exactly the place where you’re going to hold your left hand. And that for me was annoying."

I noticed he had the 630m instead of the 650m, which should run cooler thanks to Kepler.

I can confirm that it gets warm when you play games longer than 30 minutes (I have the GT650M), but never uncomfortably imo. I am very happy with the cooling solution of the N56 which runs also very silent. I think Asus did a great job here.

^This is how mine is as well. 30-34 degrees under load, feels slightly warm to the touch on the left the nearer you get to the exhaust.

I played a couple of hours of Arkham Asylum last night, and the air coming out of the side vent was quite hot, but the keyboard itself didn't get uncomfortably warm. That heat coming out is a good sign as it has to go out somewhere :)

But I'm coming from an old Dell XPS M1530 that always ran very hot even at idle!
