To whom it may concern,
I recently purchased a brand new Asus laptop - Asus Netbook Model Q200E, Windows 8 - after the unfortunate death of my previous computer's hard drive. I seem to be experiencing a very troublesome problem with my new netbook, however.
While using the touchpad, it is not necessary to press the bottom right button in order to perform a right click - if a finger is too close to the bottom middle or right corner when a left-click is performed, the right-click function is executed.
I naturally use one finger to browse the touchpad and another directly over the bottom-left to click, thus it has become very bothersome when nearly half of my clicks result in a popup-menu being presented, particularly when I accidentally click on one of the options on the menu list and perform an unwanted task such as opening a program, deleting something, nearly ad-blocking an element on a web page - the list goes on.
I really don't wish to move my left hand away from the touchpad for every single one of the thousands of clicks I make per day. Does anyone know if this can be adjusted in some way? I haven't been able to find any other solutions to this problem.
Please let me know if you have any advice or suggestions; or if you've had a similar issue which you have corrected.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

Hi Dember,
Check the General Gesture options in the Asus Smart Gestures application if it is installed on your netbook. There should be an option for the context menu when using two fingers that you can disable. Maybe that will get you in the right direction.
