So I recently got a s300ca off a friend and am looking to tinker. Has anyone had any experiance upgrading the motherboard on one of these. I read a thread that some one posted about the s400ca and s500ca not being compatible due to bios maping of the keyboard. The keyboard from the 13" (s300ca) to the 14" (s400ca) look identical, has anyone tried swapping them out? The main reson I'm looking into this is the s400ca has a memory slot to install more memory thats the only con I've found with the s300ca is it's 4 gig limit and no way to install more ram.
