    Hi All,

I just recently got a new Asus S550CA and thought I would do a clean Windows 8 install because I didn't care for all the nonsense bloatware. I have an issue about the 24GB SSD installed on the machine alongside my 500GB HDD. I blew away all the partitions and now find myself puzzled on how to make the SSD work.

RAID is not available in the BIOS so it is set to ACHI, having said that how do I set up the SSD to work as a 6GB cache drive?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've looked all over the place and even tried some Intel IRT and RST configuration steps and have no clue how to make this work. I'm using Windows 8 UEFI Boot USB for installation.

I would appreciate any help or direction.

    Thanks in advance.

Asus use a software solution for this so you need to download their program.
