Sorry it took so long...... Let me know what you all think. I realize the pictures aren't perfect, but they are scaled 99.5% correctly... Just note that "Fn" key in the lower left hand corver of each notebook IS the same size. The M5np keyboard is marginally larger than the S5n and that is hard to tell... but I hope this helps everyone understand the size differences.

I really like the size of the W5A keyboard...

Thanks for the comment... I really thought taking the time to show everyone the difference would spark some sort of conversation.

For instance..... the difference between the S5n/M5n and M5np keyboard....... we still have the keyboards and white m5np palmrests... someone could swap over their S5 to the bigger keyboard and nice aluminum buttons...

    Thanks,
    Justin

Indeed, the M5Np is much better than the original S5/M5 keyboard.. the space bar is so much longer.
But the W5A has its own separate Home, Pg Up etc keys.. which is always a plus

Interesting comparison. My M5n (I guess Np) is still not exactly like any of those, though it's pretty close to the np one. But The size of the enter and shift keys is different. The left shift key is just a letter size, and the / key is moved down next to it. The enter key is then a big key that is one key width on the bottom, and one and a bit on the top (using up the space where the / key is on that one).

I would like a larger shift key on the left, because I often seem to hit the up arrow somehow instead or as well, and end up deleting a whole line when I'm just trying to add an excalamation mark.

    Robyn,

Well thats a UK keyboard for you...... Basically like a US, with some things swapped around and ... don't you have like the veritical enter key?

Who still uses home, page up and page down anymore? It's nice to have them, but I think it would have been nicer to make the existing keys even bigger..... anyone think of that?

    Thanks,
    Justin

Yes, it's a vertical enter key - two keys high, but also, the top is a little bit wider than a key as well, so it's sort of upside-down "L" shaped. (i.e. the slash key has moved from up there to down by the left shift).

and I meant to say it was the RIGHT shift key I wanted bigger, as that's the one I use for exclamations and things, and it's the one that I keep hitting these stupid arrows/home/page up keys and deleting a whole line by accident somehow.

But that's about all that's swapped round on the UK keyboard, just the slash key position and the enter. Obviously the actual punctuation on various keys is different but that's all just normal UK/US differences.
