I have an Asus S6F and have burned several single layer dvds with no problem. I finally tried to burn a dual layer dvd and the drive keeps erroring out. In Nero recode I get a media error message (I tried Verbatim DL and Fuji DL). Ruined 2 discs. Then I tried using DVDDecrypter to read and write and I got a "servo tracking error" during the write mode. It sounds like I might have a defective dvd burner, but it certainly burns single layer discs without a problem. Any ideas out there? I'm beginning to wonder if it really has a dual layer burner after all. Thanks.

I use fuji dl's and the drive in the s6 is the same as that in the w7, w5....... never had a problem.. I'd say something happened to it.
