Loving it!! That's some kick @ss leather.

EDIT: Classic lines in the review: As predicted, graphics performance was fairly pathetic. It scored a 3DMark 2006 score of 108, and although that's more than double the score of the similarly sexy Sony VAIO TX2...

 

I've been waiting on this model and other S6's for a while now. I think It's going to be one of the best laptops Asus has ever made from a fit/finish/build quality point of view. It also packs quite a punch for such a small system with an optical drive onboard. If I have the extra money lying around in 8 months from now, and I can get my hands on one of the non-leather models, It's a done deal.

 

Yeah, I really want this notebook badly as well, too bad I'm flat broke.

 

I am ready for one. Lay it on me MAXED OUT ASAP Asus.

 

any news one these yet? newegg has the leather ones for a good chunk of change, any chance of just gunmetal or black?

 

All I know is that this is my dream notebook.
But CNET is so retarded, they say it doesn't have a firewire port even though it does and they didn't even do a battery life test.

 

Is there an S6J without the leather? Perhaps one a bit cheaper?

 

Asus actually does have small quantity of s6 without leather the retail is still like 2300

I saw datavis.com selling the non leather one for $2049. The leather one costs $500 more for the same specs.
