I'm having a problem with my S96J. Ever since I built it there has been an issue with the battery or the laptop acting odd in regards to it... in that the laptop battery light would flash, even when the battery was fully charged and and the battery was plugged in. Recently my laptop has been freezing on boot... today it did it twice in the middle of my trying to type in my WinXP password, and it seems like a hard lock.
The other day I wasn't able to get it to boot successfully until I removed the battery. Today I removed the battery and it booted right up.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Well, it might not be the battery. It was running fine without the battery for quite awhile, then I picked it up, squeezing a bit of course in the process, to show someone something, and it locked. No lights, no disk access... the screen stayed on the image it was on before the lock but nothing would work until I powered it off and back on.
I opened it up, reseated the memory, made sure nothing was obviously loose, and put it back together... we'll see what happens now.
Anyone else have this problem?
