Is there anyway to enable AHCI (native sata support) for the S96J? I looked in the bios but i dont see any options to enable/disable it. Do i need to load spacific drivers whiles installing xp/vista for it to work? (945 chipset)

Right now everyone with a S96J has their hard drives running in IDE emulation mode...NOT SATA. Whats the point of a sata hard drive if its not going to run in sata mode?

same question here. But i have the option in the bios to change from ahci to ide. From my understanding, i need to install drivers for ahci(i don't know how). right now it is running in IDE mode. I talked to tech support and they said it doesn't affect transfer rate or performance.
