    S96J from Gentech?

    I've been looking around for the best price on a S96J and I can get the config I want for under 1400 at GentechPC. Do they do a good job of putting all the components together, particularly Artic Silver 5? The fact the there is no extra charge for component installation took me aback and I just want to make sure they are careful.

    I would also would like to get a feel for general customer feedback about Gentech and the S96J specifically. I read through the "S96J Graininess Thread" and am moderately worried about the x1600 graininess issue, but I think I might be able to live until a fix is found.

    Go back to the Asus forum mainpage and read the Faq for a listing of all the reputed Asus dealers, price them out and compare, then see their ratings at resellerratings.

    If these guys are providing warranty there is no reason for you to worry.

    I got mine from gentech and couldn't be happier with their service. Ken is a great guy, answered all my questions, and regularly reads these forums and posts over on notebookforums.com quite often. he responded to all my emails within about 10 minutes, and called me a few times to anwer specific questions.

    Yep ordered mine from GenTech with AS5 as well. Haven't seen the full effects of it yet but I will soon!

    Got my barebones Z96J from GenTech. Ken Lee is excellent to work with. I highly recommend them.
