Hey guys, I've recently been experiencing a weird problem with my s96j. It wont resume from standby when I'm using 667mhz ram, it will work however when I'm using 533mhz ram.

At first I thought it was just the stick, so I RMA'd it but the new one doesn't work either. Which could still mean that its just that the brand/model doesn't work well with the notebook, but I found more people with the same problem which leads me to believe its a fault on the notebook.

So, I'm looking for anyone with an s96j and 667 memory, or anyone experiencing the standby problem, to please post your experiences/current setup. Thanks.

    Ram that works: OCZ PC2-4200 1GB DDR2-533 CL4-4-4-8 200PIN SODIMM Memory
Ram that does not work: Crucial PC2-5300 1GB DDR2-667 CL5 200PIN SODIMM Memory Module

My screen will go blank sometimes when I try to bootup from standby. I just hit the power button again and click on the mouse (and my mouse cursor defaults to the standby button). Then I power up again and all is fine.
