Hey guys, my S96j is coming tomorrow (without Windows) and I am wondering what the best order is to install all the drivers. If someone could make a list, it would be much appreciated.

Let's see, I think I did it something like this:
    1) Intel chipset inf installer
    2) Multiple Processors Hotfix
    3) Omega Drivers
    4) Audio Driver (First the hotfix included in the archive, then the actual drivers)
    5) Intel Wireless (Drivers only, didn't bother with the wireless console)
    6) Synaptics Touchpad drivers
    7) ACPI Control
    8) Sertek Camera
    9) Flash Media Control
    10) Modem driver (The only driver not available for download, so I had to dig up the cd.)

I think that sums my process up, all drivers were downloaded from Intels website and burnt to a dvd-rw, so it was easy enough to install.

    9.LAN
    10.TouchPad
    11.Media Card Reader
    12.PowerGear
    13. Wireless

Remember to install a SP2 vesion of Windows XP. Original and SP1 will not install on the S96j (because of PCI express). If you do not have a SP2 version, slipstream your version to SP2.

I have a question about slipsteaming: I've tried this once before and although my disk was readable it was not bootable. In the guide I followed I was told to use a program to take the boot image off my original XP disk which I thought I did, and make a bootable disk with that boot image. What could have I done wrong?

    Thanks!
