    S96j undetected battery?

    well everytime I turn my laptop on, the message comes up saying that computer did not detect the battery. I press ok and then the screen with automatic updates comes up. Well I press next,next,etc. but it cannot find the drivers. WHat shall I do?

    had this problem aswel .but couldnt find a solution for it .i tried to copy the drivers it uses from an other laptop but with no succes ,mayby if you have more luck .
    are you using a official windows cd? cause the cd i was trying it with was a windows cd witsh was modified .

    This may or may not help you, but if you install Windows without the battery connected to your notebook it is known to cause problems.
