I need help on getting SPDIF audio output on my BB G50v. I purchase a SPDIF cable and plugged it into the headphone/SPDIF 3.5mm jack of my laptop and the RCA to the digital coax input of my Onkyo. I can't seem to find a way to get any audio sound out of it. Maybe someone else has been successful with this. I'm not totally certain that this PC has SPDIF capability but the side jack is labeled as such and the audio control panels show digital output as well as HDMI. The SPDIF cable does work as mono and the Onkyo receivers coax input works fine with DVD. It may just be a configuration issue. Any help would be great.

If it still isn't working, (I assume it is since you haven't posted back!) then you may have to set the SPDIF to be the default audio out in windows, I have to do this each time I use it on my G50vt-x5. I use Win 7 if that makes a difference.
