I own asus g1s that supports SPDIF output via the headphone jack.
I recently bought a 5.1 headset, the Tritton AX 360 it works great with my homed theater but the only inputs it accepts are Coaxial and Optical. What kind of adapter or cord would i need to buy to use this headset??
    Thanks a lot

All you need is an optical SPDIF cable that looks like this. Note the miniJack/Toslink connector

Make sure that you enable "SPDIF output" on your sound card driver.

I already set the realteck digital output enabled using sound properties in vista. so im set with that.

I think that cable will do the trick, any links to where i can get it, or could i just pick one up at radio shack

Get it online at newegg.com, frys.com. Something along those lines. If they have it in a retail store like Radio Shack your going to pay 3x its worth or more.

You will need to set the default audio device to HDMI, at least thats how it works under my V1s
