Hi guys, I'm a new member of the forums (been lurking for a long time anyway, lol) and I read somewhere that you can install SRS Premium Sound on the G72 to get differential sound from the 4 speakers it has (not just cloned stereo). I searched on the forums, but didn't find anything about this, so I was wondering if any of you has done this, how to do it (where to get the program and how to install it if it has any problems) and what has been your experience like.
I'd appreciate any feedback.
Thanks in advance!

I was hoping if maybe mylowrider could tell me about this, since I have seen him posting about this issue. I would try to contact him, but I can't seem to find the PM link.

Just download the software from link provided and unzip and run the setup file called "SRSPremSound_ASUS_x64"
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/Apps/SRS/SRSPremiumSound_ASUS_VT64_090508.zip
After running SRSPremSound_ASUS_x64, you need to also run the setup.exe file. -
I did what you told me, and all I have to say is: Holy Sh*t! I can't believe how much the differentiated sound coming from the 4 speakers improved the surrounding feeling, it made my laptop even better than before, and I can't thank you enough. If I had rep power I'd absolutely give you some!
Thanks man!
