I am going to buy a ASUS X54C-NS92 Notebook and upgrade the hard disk to an SSD, probably an Intel SSD, I've had one in my desk top for a couple years now and the thing rocks for speed and no noise.

What interface is the hard disk in the ASUS X54C notebook? SATA II?

What form factor? (size 1.8", 2.5")?

    Thanks

That is a 2.5 form drive, SATA III. I put the Seagate Momentus SSD Hybrid in mine, took all of ten minutes after a 30 minute clone through the USB. I'm trying to rip out my CD drive and install another drive there with a HDD caddy. Am looking for a manual. This CD is not detachable via one screw from the botton-outside-of the case. Anyone have this manual?
