    Scratches on my G1s

    My G1s cover is scratched pretty badly, i have my mother to thank for that. Is there a way i can repair the scratches? (this is on the lid btw) IF i can, what do you guys recommend?

    If it is bad enough you can get it replaced...but a new lid is 40 bucks. I suggest if you do get it replaced put on the shieldzone.com skin or something similar to it. Thats what i have on my G1 and it does its job well. You can try to buff it out with car scratch remover but it will probably only get rid of the smaller scatches. The way car scratch remover work is it polishes the clear coat on the car so that it is even, thus eliminating the scratch. I don't think we have a clear coat of paint on the lid, so it prolly won't work so well. Sorry to hear about the scratches though, I know how you feel.
