I get this weird white screen after I shutdown my computer sometimes.

It is not plain white. You cannot tell in this video, but it is kind of like a checkerboard white. Sometimes it might just be a smaller portion of the screen that does this.

My screen will sometimes dim when I click the shutdown button as well.

It does not always happens. Sometimes it just shutdowns regularly.

Here is a video of it happening with the white screen after the display goes off when I click the shutdown button.

    <param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/MiB-2_XMgRI?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/MiB-2_XMgRI?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width='420' height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Any ideas what kind of issue this is?
