    Screen Problem on a 901

    :( The attached photo is the screen of my ASUS 901 netbook, I dropped something on the keyboard and next time I switched it on the screen was like this. There is no sign of any physical damage, no cracks, chips or anything, do you think it is just a loose connection or is the screen completely buggered?

    Could I change the screen myself?

    you have cracked the screen, you have to buy a new LCD Panel

    But there is no visible damage to the screen?

    Like Tinselworm said, there's a wavy crack running horizontally across the screen; you can't fix this. You are going to have to purchase a replacement LCD panel or hook up the computer to an external monitor if you want to use it.
