    Hello,

I ran screen test and see light from all edges.
    Is this normal?
I do not remember seeing this on a mac I had once.

    Thanks

It really depends on the screen type, manufacture and model.
For example, LED screens will bound to have light leakage due to their design - some will be more obvious than others.

Regarding how much is "ok", really depends on your own tolerance. If it doesn't bother you or distract you from your work, then I'd say it would be fine.
Usually, light leakage is measured how intense the leakage is, how far across the light spreads into the screen and the area of which the leakage originates from.

I'm going to try and remove splended software and see if that helps.
I can opt to exchange it at Amazon, but I do not want to do that unless I have to. I may end up with a worse screen. I never owned asus before, so I do not know how there quality is. Are more expensive systems the same? Like Alienware m17, or imac 24", mbp 15"

One of the best external 24" monitors is the Acer P243WAid.

As for laptop screens, it really depends since even the same model laptop can have different model screens from different manufacturers.
