This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Screen never turns off

    have a u35jc-a1 with nvidia optimus.

    problem is the laptop screen never turns off no matter what i do with the settings.

    i have the same issue even when the laptop is connected to a monitor, the monitor never turns off either.

    doesn't matter if it's plugged in or not either.

    it didn't do this at first but now it's doing it.
