My screen inst seem to be holding it's brightness setting that I set it at. Once in a while, it will either pop right up to the max setting or drop down to the lowest. And it does that at random times. I noticed that it started to do this after i got Notebook Hardware Control 2.0. I am suspecting it is this program causing it. Has anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

Now I know that the logical thing to do would be to uninstall the program, however, I like it's features showing battery life, CPU and HD temp, etc. I would uninstall this program if there is a better hardware monitor out there for Vista 32bit. Anyone know of one?

Take a look at RMClock, that's what some prefer over NHC.
