Hello!
I have some scroll-problems with my Asus UX31.
My version is with the Sandisk SSD and the Elantech touchpad.
The problems are:
1. When I use Chrome and scroll while I'm watching a youtube video, it fast forwards the video instead of just letting me scroll down the page.
When I'm looking at facebook pictures and scroll to watch comments, it scrolls "through" the pictures instead!
2. When I'm using Chrome there seems to be some other scrolling-problems... the scrolling is much slower than when I use Internet Explorer for instance. And especially on some websites! On facebook and 9gag the scroll is very slow, and it takes ages scrolling down the pages. On other websites it scrolls much faster. Why is this happening?
3. The scroll isn't smooth - I have tried enabling the smooth scroll function in Chrome, but this isn't helping much.
Anyone with similar problems? Or even better - solutions?

I also have the Elan touchpad and experience these problems in chrome. Another place the scrolling is wonky is in most PDFs that pull up through the browser. Very frustrating.

Indeed, very frustrating. Everyone experiencing this, or is it just us? And no ways to solve it?

By enabling "smooth scrolling (in danish: "jævn rulning" ) in about:flags in chrome most of the scrolling problems in this particular browser dissapear- it's excellent on this page for example. But when I'm scrolling facebook, for example, it's not smooth at all - AND it takes ages to scroll down!
How come certain pages are harder to scroll on? This is driving me mad! If anyone got a fix, I am listening! -
hi, I was also looking for a solution to this and I think I have found one now. Downloading and installing Asus Smart Gesture from Asus website fixed the problem with choppy and slow scrolling. I have the same configuration as the author.

Initially, I set up chrome to zoom pages to 125% to make text larger on the display, however, I soon realized that page scrolling was extremely laggy when there are multiple images on the webpage. The solution I came up with was to install the chrome extension "Zoomy" and set the DPI ratio to 125% instead, this made the text on websites larger while still maintaining the smooth scrolling experience.
