    Hey All,

I was wondering if anyone knew of an EEE PC that's sold anyplace, online or retail, that has all of the following features:

    Screen size above 9".
    Matte Screen.
    Solid State Drive.
    LED Backlight.
    Windows XP
    Brushed/Non Glossy Exterior

Thanks for all the help, again!

Looks like what I want is an 1000HE with a SSD or a 1000 with an SSD.

    -J

Asus doesn't make any 10" netbooks with SSD. Some of the 900 series EeePC (9" models) have the SSD option. All Asus netbook have matte screens and I'm pretty certain all the 10" models are equipped with LED panels.

For the 9" EeePCs, check Amazon.com.
For the 10" EeePCs, check GenTechPC.

Can a SSD easily swap in and out with an HDD?

For most of the 10" netbooks, yes. The only exception is the 1008HA. It's still possible to replace the standard HDD with a SSD, but it's a pain in the rear to disassemble the unit. All other 10" netbooks will have easy access to the hard drive compartment and can be easily replaced with a 2.5" SATA SSD.

Anyone know of a place I can find an 1000HE in Brushed Aluminum or Fine Ebony or a 1000 regular of any kind?
