    Hi,
Im selling my Asus M60J laptop to help me afford the G53, but i am a little noobish about what price i should put on it. The specs are the following:

    i7 720QM 1.6 GHz
    Nvidia Geforce GT 240M
    160 GB Intel X-25M G2 SSD
    4 GB 1333 MHz RAM
    16" 1333x768 HD Screen
    Blueray/etc etc etc

I paid around $2000 when i bought it in Januar this year, and now im selling it for $1500 - $1650 on an auction site. Is that too much or too little?
I also had to pay $500 for duty and customs, which i know i cant have back :(
    So in total $2500.

I would sell that SSD separately. I'd buy it from you in a heartbeat!

G73 was not available at that time. I don`t think preorders had even startet back then. M60J was not in production about month after i bought it, so if i waited 1 month i could have bought the G73. What done is done

Hehe, i bet. But if i did i have an uncomplete laptop to sell, without any HDD :D

This laptop should go around 1000-1200 without the SSD. Without the SSD it'll be much easier to sell as people that are looking to buy at this price range don't really have an SSD in mind.

I highly doubt that anyone would be interested in bying an incomplete laptop. I do agree that it is difficult to justify the price of this laptop because of the expensive SSD. The average joe does not care about SSDs, only capasity. That is why im having some minor problems selling it here in Norway.

Do you think people at Amazon will be interested in the laptop?

    I hate you
hehe no i dont. I think i purchased the laptop sometime in December because i remember i was angry in the christmas, cursing Santa claus for having this holiday screw up the production of my laptop haha :)
And it shipped around new year i think. Im absolutely positive the G73 was not available because i would have seen it. I think

Id sell the SSD separate and just throw in a 500G 7200 drive. Come out ahead that way.

Considering that a new N61JQ-B1 with better specs and even after adding the same Intel X-25M G2 SSD drive cost around 1600$.
A price of 1500$ for your used M60J would be very high.

I would also suggect that you replace the SSD with other drive before sell the notebook.
Then sell the SSD separately or keep it for your new machine.

HAH, try telling that to a 5 year old boy who just entered the candy shop. I have absolutely no patience what so ever

See the above. Wait? No way :)
