I got an interesting notebook in today and thought just that... it was interesting. I'm not a huge fan of the Z91e as THE notebook to show off our company.... but this version of it has it's advantages...... afterall I really wouldn't want to take a V6 to a job site...... I'm not sure when we're going to have these for sale but should be here by the end of November. It's an interesting offering and maybe one that most everyone here would pass on...... but I never know who may be passing through.
Interesting notes:
-Sonoma based 915 chipset
-15" LCD w/ some sort of hard coating protecting the screen
-Entire bottom chassis is covered in rubber
-Spill-proof keyboard - not 100% sure yet but I believe this has a pass-thru drain like the panasonic tough-books
-Color coded keyboard -- I'm not sure if this will stay, the image in the picture doesn't show the US style keyboard, but of course that's what we'll get..... I'm sorta hoping the colors stay... they may look weird, but consider using it on an overcast day, out in the rain or something.... for a job site, it's pretty cool...

I saw it on the other forums, and I gotta say, unique
Kinda reminds me of those Fisher Price 'My first Laptop' -

... yeah the keyboard you mean.... it does.... the keyboard would look better if the whole system were covered in rubber, in my opinion...... but I think it sorta stands out.... I'm sure it's something we could swap over to a regular Z91 keyboard if needed.....
Semi-Rugged anyone?
