Hey this is a guide for installing XP on the HP DV6500T. However, it has the same chipset as the G1S (follow the instructions for the PM965) and has detailed instructions on how to use NLite to integrate the SATA driver into a windows xp installation cd for those who are confused. You can use the links from this guide for the components of the HP that are the same as the G1S, i.e. gpu. However, the rest can be found online including one package on this forum in the thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=130219 (courtesy of coldsoul). I would use this link more as a guide for getting started installing xp on your G1S and not as a step-by-step instruction
    Hope this helps.
