Seeing as ASUS is one of the largest sections of the forum, I think it would be better to separate it into different sections (like how the DELL section is split into XPS/INSPIRON)... it would make it a lot easier to browse.

    Can split it up like:

    M SERIES (Multimedia)

    F SERIES (Not sure)

    G SERIES (Gaming)

    And a C series? I dunno.

No, this was discussed many times. There would be way too many subsections if you were to do that and threads will be lost.

I do agree to do smaller sections that appear at the top of the Asus forum general discussion: Reviews & Lounges, Troubleshooting .. but that's it.

Yeah the Asus section is way too cluttered with every possible owner's lounge and review thread, it's pretty ridiculous.

I agree, I am looking at the moment between a new G or M series notebook, to keep asking questions crossing between the two separated forums would be a right ***. I do agree we could shuffle a few more of the owners lunges into a separate section, the top is a good candidate, as those threads are often easy fix q+a's rather than in depth discussion for would be buyers.

Although the concept is good, i don't think it's realistic. There are far too many series to have one separate sub-forum for each. Plus, Asus tends to have a new line of notebooks coming out every so often and replaces the previous models (eg the S and A series are no longer available now)

    Currently, there is the:
    M (multimedia)
    G (gaming)
    F (budget)
    C (desktop replacement)
    V (business)
    VX (lamborghini)
    W (small & light)
    U (ultra-protable)
    eeepc (super ultra-portable)
    R (tablet)

    Z as well..

Yeah having that many subforums would cause too much confusion. Like I said, a Reviews and Lounge sub forum and a Troubshooting forum with a general ASUS forum that is displayed once you click Asus.

Yep, I like D3X's idea more. I don't know yet whether it's going to be done or not.

YEah more sub-section will be nice so we concentrate in one issue instead of looking all over the forum
