I'm looking for a thin and stylish 14.1-15 gaming notebook. I like the VX design and also the V1s and V2. Is there any plans on a refresh of these laptops with a good video card in them for gaming? My budget is about $2500. I know I won't get a VX with that but is there a laptop with a similiar chassis? Are there any news on upcoming Asus products? I've been wanting to wait for SSD prices to go down but at this rate, I might be waiting until the cows come home.

I don't think there's any plans at the moment for a refresh on the V series. Asus is focusing on the mainstream consumer market, so you probably won't see anything along the lines of a business laptop. The U series, however still offers a sturdy magnesium-alloy chassis, but they don't come in a 14" or 15" form.
